When I first moved to Texas these were my thoughts
Air port diaries
Sitting here got hired. Don't have a car can't go home. Oh we'll at least I get free food and drink. Lol
Tried alligator for the 1st time. It's good. Has a texture of a spicy popcorn chicken coating. On the inside its like a chicken and frogs leg taste and texture. "cielo" said it was a combo of chicken and fish.
This city seems to have so much culture. It's nice to be able to learn about other people and ideas. So far I've seen a Spaniard family, some New York guys, polish server, lots of Mexicans, (it's like north Mexico here! Lol) Looking forward to meeting lots of cool new people
These guys from New York sound like they are in some sort of entertainment biz. Not sure what. But sounds like they are in some sort of production crew.
Trying to learn th menu so I can get a head start on training. Manager really seems to like me. I like him too. He seems to do things the right way.
So I have 2 weeks or more of blah ness. Hoping. Can go in service and meet some new friends soon. Earning my keep by cleaning haha.
Missing my husband missing my wookie. U know normal stuff.
Hoping things don't disappear or get broken on move he. Worried about trusting my husband to do everything. Lol I'm such a control freak with that stuff. Oh well.
Looking forward to exploring the city and having many new adventures.
